In a bustling weekend of music events in and around New York City, music lovers were treated to a diverse array of performances spanning multiple genres. From rock to hip-hop to ska and everything in between, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

At the Bowery Ballroom, Canadian punk rock band METZ, along with Gouge Away, delivered an electrifying performance that had fans moshing and crowd-surfing throughout the night. Over at Brooklyn Steel, Cypress Hill, The Pharcyde, and Souls of Mischief brought their signature blend of West Coast hip-hop to the East Coast, creating a lively atmosphere that had attendees dancing and rapping along to their iconic hits.

Meanwhile, Terminal 5 played host to a legendary lineup of Method Man & Redman, along with Styles P, who had the crowd bouncing with their high-energy stage presence and catchy lyrics. The energy continued at Le Poisson Rouge, where bbymutha and Fly Anakin put on a captivating show that had the audience grooving and singing along.

For fans of metal, Judas Priest and Sabaton rocked the Prudential Center with their powerful performances, showcasing their impressive musicianship and entertaining stage presence. And at S.O.B.’s, Raekwon, Lord Sko, and DJ Green Lantern kept the energy high with their infectious beats and clever lyrics.

In a more intimate setting, The Mary Wallopers performed at Warsaw, treating the audience to their unique blend of Irish folk music and traditional tunes. Over at the Massapequa VFW Hall, On The Might of Princes, Timeshares, Fellow Project, Adult Magic, and Permanent Residue put on a dynamic show that had fans moshing and headbanging all night long.

Other notable performances included Phony Ppl at the Blue Note Jazz Club, Dog Date at Trans-Pecos, Yola at Racket, and The Aggrolites at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Each artist brought their own distinct sound and style to the stage, captivating audiences and leaving them wanting more.

As the weekend came to a close, music fans across the city were left buzzing with excitement over the unforgettable performances they had witnessed. With such a wide range of talent and styles on display, it’s clear that New York City continues to be a hub for live music and a destination for music lovers from all walks of life.
