that little figure also figures prevalent in the verse on "Almost Hear You Sigh" off of Steel Wheels. Of course, it's indicative of the sort open G staple that has come to characterize many Stones progressions post Ry Cooder showing Keef the open G tuning in 1969 (or so?).

Everyone's gone mad with Mick's voice, but I think I'm the only one sitting here thinking it's DEFINITELY not Keith playing. Not to blame the guy, but his arthritis is BAD! His playing live, honestly looks pre recorded.

Getting old correctly and an inspiration to us oldies. No face lifts, just still rocking for the love of it as they certainly don't need the money!! Rock on guys.

Love it and enjoyed the breakdown. Thank you.

For my money, the best two tracks on the album that the band hasn't released as singles are "So Close" and "Whole Wide World" for those who are interested. Great songs.

I like your content. However, as a huge rolling stones fan. I am still amazed at how many great songs they came up with, yet I do think their best stuff is the early stuff. I got off of the rolling stones bus when Exiles On Mainstreet was released. Although I like a few of the tracks, I didn't need a song like Turd on the Run! From then on in my opinion they went downhill with the exception of their early 80's release Tattoo You. My kids got me that one for my birthday that year. I like that one, but not much after that! My opinions. I still consider the Rolling Stones as one of the best all time rock bands. Their time is up. It was over a long time ago. I will treasure their best stuff as I sing and play at open mics. Big Rolling Stones fan here.

Why don't bands make music like they used to? I think it's because they're old and they must have forgotten that music is supposed to be felt and enjoyed by them selves before they have even a chance of moving anyone else with their cold shitrattle they try to pass off as music here. How is this even possible though, and how could I know this when i'm just a person and The Rolling Stones are celebrated as Gods in the rock n roll hall of fame? The reason is that their boredom is so powerful these days that it partly makes up the very fabric of our universe. Their 12 bar, predictable formula was uninspiring to us back in school when it was forced down our necks, let alone after its been piped into our heads for decades. Sometimes I get so bored of shit like this, it makes me want to soil my self for the shier sensation of it. Not the movement I was hoping for in 2024.

Was never a fan, but eventually one of my friends convinced me to go to one of their concerts. So he saddled up the horse and carriage (I believe the year was 1876, or was it 1877? I’ll check the ticket if it hasn’t molded to pieces somewhere) Long story short, I saw a picture of them from 2023 and they still look the same! How’s that even… I mean 146 years ago and they still look the same 😮 So hats off to the Rolling Aliens. That’s the only explanation.

Really? What happened to the Rolling Stones? I guess there is such thing as a dumb question. But I know – promotions and marketing so It's cool. I like your channel and I usually don't look at the Headlines.
