Glixen, a Phoenix-based band that has been making waves in the shoegaze scene, recently released a new track titled “lust.” The band, known for their dreamy and mesmerizing sound, describes the song as a reflection on the yearning and intensity of desire for someone, capturing the fleeting and passionate moments that come with it.

Bandleader Aislinn Ritchie shared, “‘lust’ is about the yearning and wanting of somebody and the rush that that person makes you feel. It is a feeling that is shallow, yet it feels intense and passionate but only for a moment. We wanted to take the direction of our sound to a heavier place. I wanted the weight of the sound to crush me.”

Following their successful performance at Nothing’s Slide Away Fest, Glixen has also announced upcoming tour dates with Interpol, DIIV, and Sasami. The band is set to captivate audiences with their immersive sound at venues across the country.

The tour dates are as follows:

– 05/08 – Mesa, AZ @ Mesa Amphitheatre (w/ Interpol)
– 06/06 – Santa Cruz, CA @ The Catalyst (w/ DIIV and Sasami)
