Poker Run On The Strip This Weekend! Lake Area Realtors Sponsor The Party! | Things To Do
The Lake of the Ozarks is gearing up for a unique event that promises a day of fun and excitement for both residents and visitors alike. The Bagnell Dam Association of Realtors is hosting the Homeowner Appreciation Day Poker Run on Saturday, April 20, in Luby’s Plaza.
Unlike traditional boating poker runs that require participants to travel by boat from location to location, this Poker Run will take place on foot along the Bagnell Dam Strip. With 14 bars along the way, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy food and drink specials while trying their hand at collecting the best poker hand.
Registration for the event will begin at noon and participants can purchase a hand for $20 to join in on the fun. Free t-shirts will be available for the first registrants, while supplies last. The Poker Run will run until 5 p.m., giving participants plenty of time to make their way through the Strip and collect their cards.
In addition to the Poker Run, Homeowner Appreciation Day will also feature a variety of activities for attendees to enjoy. From games and face painting to corn hole and live music, there will be something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day.
One of the highlights of this event is that the proceeds will be donated to charity. This year, the proceeds will benefit Lake Area Counseling and Behavior Health, supporting a worthy cause in the community.
